We are Japanese Conversation Club in Edinburgh! To offer an opportunity to practice your hard studied Japanese, we try to only use Japanese throughout the meetup. All levels of speaking ability are welcome!

日本語コンネクションは日本語を勉強している人と日本人のために作りました。毎週の金曜日に会って日本語だけで会話をしながら新しい友達を作って楽しい二時間を過ごします！是非ジョインして、いっしょうに遊びましょう!

If you are a learning Japanese, this group is for you if:

• You want to make new friends that can speak Japanese

• You want to improve the fluency of your spoken Japanese.

• You want to meet Japanese speakers and make friends.

• You want to feel more confident speaking Japanese.

• You realize that time to time (when you get the chance to talk in Japanese) you speak as if you were translating from your mother tongue.

• You have lived in Japan and want to keep your language skills going.

• You understand what people are saying but want to be able to reply faster and more clearly.

• You are planning to spend more time in Japan in the future and need to invest in some language practice.

Just so you know: the admission fee is charged on the spot with a card reader, and applies to learners only. We use it to purchase a warm drink for our native speaking teachers as well as to cover costs of running the meetup (e.g. the bi-annual meetup.com fee).
